Description
This 3-hour workshop provides established Code Blue Trainers with updates from the CPR Committe and CCND Executive Leadership, opportunity to discuss program successes and challenges as well as patient care area specific concerns, revalidation of Clinical Emergency Response competency and serves to provide time to develop and revise mock emergency response scenarios.
Special Comments
All Code Blue Trainers must attend at least one session annually and host a minimum of 2 mock code events on their unit each calendar year.

Course Objectives
1. Discuss CC CPR Committee related to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls 2. Review training resources available in the Clinical Center 3. Practice mock code techniques and scenario building 5. Revalidate Clinical Emergency Response competency of the trainer

Current Basic Life Support certification, Clinical Emergency Response Competency, Code Blue New trainer course, nurse manager recommendation
