Description
This course covers end-user training for the CareEvent which connects the central monitor to mobile phones in areas that use of cardiac monitoring by the Philips. the course is approximately 90 minutes.
Special Comments
All classes will be held in Bldg. 10 South 5D38. Directions to Room: From the South Entrance; Take elevators to 5 Floor and follow signage to 5D38--Clinical Center Training Room From 5NW: Go to South elevators then take passageway through Magnuson Labs. Then exit into Magnuson. Go the last set of elevators then right turn and follow signage to 5D38.
Target Audience
Any staff that uses CareEvent to monitor in-patients using cardiac telemetry.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to verbalize the use of the CareEvent in cardiac monitoring as demonstrated by: 1) assigning care-giver to Zebra phone; 2)reviewing the alarms via Zebra phone; 3) use the event notification and escalation.
Pre-requisites
Review of CCND CareEvent Resources in the Absorb LMS.
