Description
CRNRP Preceptor Overview sessions are designed to provide essential information about the program and new graduate nurse orientation to preceptors. The overview session will be offered twice. All new preceptors and preceptors who have not precepted a nurse resident within the previous 2 years are encouraged to attend.

Participants will: 1. Identify key elements and structure of the nurse residency program 2. Discuss characteristics of new graduate nurses and ways to assist with their transition to nursing practice 3. Explore essential roles of responsibilities of the residency preceptor
