Class Information for Essentials in Pediatric Nursing: Care of the Critically Ill Child
Description
This 2 day class explores pediatric growth & development, assessment, neurological function & dysfunction, medication administration, electrolyte management, pain and sedation management, immunological/hematological function & dysfunction, oncology emergencies, psycho social care of the sick child, the role of child life specialists and hands on skill stations.
Contact Hours
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. 12.25 contact hours will be awarded. Must attend entire 2-day course.
Target Audience
Any Nurse who cares for children with in the Clinical Center.
