Class Information for Advanced Oncology Education Series (AOES) for Nurses: Cancer Immunotherapy
Description
This one day course will include sessions on current immunotherapy approaches including immune checkpoint inhibitors, vaccine therapy, and cellular therapy as well as provide nursing strategies for managing immune related adverse events.

Target Audience
Nurses with at least 2 years of Oncology Experience.
Course Objectives
By the end of the program, learners will identify current approaches in cancer immunotherapy.
By the end of the program, participants will identify nursing strategies to manage immune related adverse events.
Pre-requisites
Participants should have completed an introductory course related to oncology nursing and have a strong foundation in Chemo/biotherapy administration principles for cancer patients. Courses may include the CCND Oncology Education Series: Oncologic Emergencies and Concepts, Trends, and Care Courses or the ONS Online Cancer Basics Course.
