Class Information for CCND Abstract and Poster Development Workshop
Description
This workshop will prepare CCND nursing staff with the knowledge required to create high quality abstracts and posters for submission to professional conferences.

This activity has been approved by the Maryland Nurses Association to award contact hours. The Maryland Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Program speakers and coordinators have no relevant financial relationships, conflict of interest, commercial support or non-commercial sponsorship relating to this course.
Special Comments
Contact hours will be awarded to those individuals who attend the entire course and submit the complete evaluation form.
Target Audience
This course is designed for the nurse who is interested in developing an abstract and/or professional poster for presentation.
Course Objectives
1. Discuss strategies and writing techniques designed to improve the organization and quality of an abstract. 2. Review the CCND approval process, with emphasis on abstract approvals. 3. Describe fundamental poster design concepts, as they relate to developing, and presenting, a high quality professional poster.
