Description: Build on the foundation you already have in place by reviewing the CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention* training as an ongoing process, not a one time event.
Contact Hours: 6.5 contact hours
Special Comments: Contact hours are awarded to those individuals who attend the entire event and complete and submit the evaluation forms. This activity has no commercial support of sponsorship. Planner, presenters and content reviewers disclose no conflict of interest relative to this educational activity.
Target Audience: This course is designed for all medical nurses and technicians who have completed the 1 Day Foundation class for the Medical Nurse in the previous year.
Course Objectives: 1. Review course concepts, skills, and application principals to reinforce understanding. 2. Problem solve and strengthen crisis intervention skills. 3. Receive additional supporting information. 4. Demonstrate capabilities in applying course content and skills to work experiences since last training.
Pre-requisites: CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention* 1 Day Foundation Class.
