Description
1. HeartCode BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) is a blended learning program for certificate renewal only. 2. Successful completion requires passing both the online course, the practical skills demonstration and attending the entire session. Arriving late or leaving early is not permitted. 3. An email from eCards@heart.org will be sent within 7 days of completing the course and will include instructions for accessing your new card.
Special Comments
1. Participation in these sessions requires the physical ability to perform all hands-on skills. For your safety, if you are unable to demonstrate these skills, the Instructor may ask you to reschedule and follow up with your supervisor. 2. Email notifications will be sent for class cancellations if the Federal Government announces a closed operating status due to inclement weather or other circumstances. 3. The AHA Help Desk is available M-F 9am-5pm EST at 1-888-242-8883 for any online course issues.

Pre-requisites
1. A current AHA BLS certification. 2. A completed AHA HeartCode online course certificate is required to attend this session. Students will receive an email from eLearning.heart.org with access information approximately 1-1.5 weeks before class.
