Class Information for CRNRP Preceptor Bootcamp
Description
The CRNRP Preceptor Bootcamp is designed to prepare identified preceptors to effectively support nurse residents transitioning into the specialty of clinical research nursing. This workshop equips participants with practical tools to foster clinical reasoning, promote psychological safety, provide meaningful feedback, and facilitate competency development. Participants will receive a refresher on the unique role of the preceptor, review CRNRP expectations, practice coaching and communication techniques, and discuss strategies for managing common preceptor challenges. Attendees will strengthen their ability to create positive learning experiences while supporting the professional growth, confidence, and retention of our nurse residents This course is required for all nurses serving as preceptors for the Clinical Research Nursing Residency Program.

Course Objectives
Learning Objectives Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to: Describe the role and responsibilities of a CRNRP preceptor. Apply evidence-based teaching and coaching strategies to support nurse resident learning. Deliver timely, constructive feedback and conduct meaningful learning conversations. Foster psychological safety and clinical judgment in the clinical learning environment. Utilize CRNRP resources and evaluation tools to support competency development and successful transition to practice.
